Part 2:
Leo has offered to share his time for a second interview to answer some of your blogging questions. So be sure to include any blogging questions you have in your comments and Sean and I will pick out some of the best ones to ask Leo tonight.
Also, be sure to check out Leo’s latest book, The Power of Less, and his latest site, thepowerofless.com!

Cheers for the interview, and the opportunity to ask questions. My question for Leo is this:
While I’ve been blogging for a while, I’m now wanting to start increasing my readership. What tips would you have to do this but not have it eat up my entire day?
It was great to actually “hear” Leo. It has been fantastic to follow Leo, learn from him and watch him soar. I appreciate your interview and bringing this opportunity to us.
Thanks for this opportunity Eric, Sean, and Leo!
What is the most potent way to give readers the most value? Does it go beyond content?
Leo’s blog first started me on de-cluttering my life — love that guy! Thanks for the interview.
Question to Leo: What is the blogging advice you find yourself giving out the most to bloggers?
Leo: What is the most common mistake you see new bloggers making today? And what do you advise to correct it? Thanks! : )
I really like this: “Do less and achieve more at work by focusing on more important and higher impact tasks.” It is about eliminating the nonessential. I’m adding the first part of the interview to my squidoo lens on Leo: http://www.squidoo.com/Leo-Babauta.
Hey Eric and Sean! Thanks for your kind words. It’s always great to see these different approaches to Leo’s interviews and insight – I usually end up learning something new every time.
It was a treat to have him on Guamology. Also, the open forum questions that you’ve extended to your readers are cool. Great job!
Great advice, this is similar to understanding the Parkinson’s Law. Work extends to fill time.
Hey everyone, thanks for the great blogging questions! Be sure to stop by tomorrow and check out the follow up interview where Leo addresses them.
@Ben, Jay, SpaceAgeSage: We were happy to share Leo with you. I’m glad you enjoyed it.
@Tess: Isn’t it interesting to actually hear someone you’ve read words from, but never heard their voice?! That’s why I love these interviews.
@Guamology: Thanks for stopping by! I thoroughly enjoyed watching your interview with Leo. Eric.
Lori: Leo’s Blog was the one that showed me a large individualized audience was possible.
I’ve been thinking about starting a blog for a looooong time, but have been to busy with busyness (and some important tasks too, my first baby hoorah!).
My question to Leo would be how one goes about starting a blog with respect to posts. Is it important to write a couple of posts and only start the blog with a minimum amount of content?
THANK YOU for this interview!
This is truly wise advice that almost seems counterintuitive in our world of information-overload, clutter and distraction!
I am already seeing the world in a new way.
THANKS AGAIN
justin
Thanks Eric, this is a fantastic interview. You guys did a great job with it – the sound quality and video are both excellent, and you were really well prepared with good questions for Leo.
I wish I could have participated in asking Leo some questions but I’m late to the party
Leo is great – it was wonderful seeing him interviewed, he’s very humble, honest and open. I’m sure other people agree, that seeing him interviewed and “in person” brings whole new dimension to reading his blog and books.
