I agree finding work is the challenging bit - in the Staff Blogging Course I recommend a variety of methods to help you get a foot in the door (job boards are, in fact, my least favourite method!) If you can write well, and you're not too shy about putting yourself forward, you will find work blogging. The key thing is to get your name out there (guest posting is a great start), so that blog editors have heard of you before you approach them!
