I’m actually taking a long hard look at two of my oldest blogs and thinking of doing a re-boot, so once more you guys have your finger on the pulse…or at least mine!

The main things that I have concentrated on the blog “reboot” so far is focus, content, and goals. I’m using the same theme as Exit78 for now as I’ve tweaked it enough to give a unique theme and I really need to focus on content now rather than looks.

I’m also finding and interacting with blogs in the niche I’m aiming at, which is something that I’ve not done in the past, and traffic is already starting to pick up. (An interesting observation on this niche and the one my wife is working in is that almost everyone is using Blogger where I’m used to interfacing with people who are mostly using WordPress.)

I agree that goals should be updated every few weeks or months. Otherwise they will lose their purpose as they will not reflect your current reality.

This will cause you to lose motivation as you will notice that you cannot keep up with your own expectations.
